"Kesha" is one of our double registered AQHA/APHA mares and is also one of our favorites! She is a giant of a mare, standing 16 hands and stout as you could make one. 5 panel NN and great bone and feet for a modern bred mare. We have known Kesha since she was a 3 year old when her owner brought her to be started under saddle. Fell in love with this big, sweet mare and hated to give her back at the end of the training! She was a natural under saddle, smooth and talented. Fast forward a few years and Kesha came up for lease. I jumped on it immediately! Her first foal in 2019 was an amazing Red Roan overo by Smooth Cool N Frosty who is now a stallion prospect in OK. After that foal, she was open for '20 but her owner had decided to sell, so of course I wrote the check! She rebred and had another Red Roan (this time solid) stud colt in '21 by A Cool Roan Mister, who is in ID as a stallion prospect. Kesha foaled another stud colt in April 2022 by Smooth Cool N Frosty and boy, he is a dandy! Red Roan overo, Double Registered. We are retaining him as a potential stallion prospect. His name is Hes Cool N Dangerous and you can see him on the Offspring page! Kesha had a Palomino filly by Reserve World Champion stallion Sail On Sailor in May '23 who is another keeper. Bred to for 2024 to Ashwoods Classic Ice and we are expecting another stunner
