"Honey" has been with us since the fall of 2017. I had purchased her 2017 stud colt as a stallion prospect from Mitzel Quarter Horses in SD, and as happens frequently when I head to their ranch, I end up bringing home more than I planned! We were sorting off the stud colt to load him and I jokingly said it would be easier to just load the mare too. Well thats what we did and they both came home with me! Honey's breeder had some very well known Champion Halter horses back in the day and she has a super cool pedigree. Honey stands 15.1 hands. She has produced one of our stallions, Ashwoods Classic Ice (see Stallions page), who is the colt I originally went to pick up that day I got her, and 2 other stud colts, both of those were Red Dun Roans. Honey finally gave me a filly in 2023 that will be kept.
